Jesse Spots is a comedian and filmmaker. As a teenager he worked behind-the-scenes on films “25th Hour” and “Hustle Flow.” He appeared on Japanese television as a stuntman and later created special effects for “James Cameron’s Expedition: Bismarck” and “America’s Most Wanted.”

In 2002 Jesse attended the University of Texas and contributed to more than a hundred short films. Director Robert Rodriguez awarded Jesse’s short film the grand prize for Alamo Drafthouse’s Bloodshots 48 Hour Film Contest. The film appeared in South By Southwest 2004 as an official selection. The following year Jesse co-wrote & produced a television show with Zach Anner.

In recent years Jesse has acted frequently for Rooster Teeth Productions. He became a proud member of the New Movement and graduated the program in 2011 after a ten city comedy tour.

In 2012, Jesse created trailers for the SXSW Film Festival. He Associate Produced Hell Yes Fest at Moontower Comedy. And he was a talent consultant for the Bravo Series “LA Shrinks” which premiered this March nationwide.

Today he works in a French Quarter kitchen and is brewing a new troupe with Paolo Roy, Joseph Meissner, Grace Millsaps, and Ryan Murphy.
