James Hamilton is a performer, writer, and comedian based in New Orleans.  He was a member of TNM’s first graduating improv class in New Orleans and is now a faculty member.
James currently writes and performs with the nationally touring group, Stupid Time Machine.  They have performed in many of North America’s premiere comedy festivals, including San Francisco SketchFest, Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Moontower Oddity and Comedy Festival, and Hell Yes Fest.  Their videos has been featured on culture and entertainment publications around the country, including Upworthy, Bustle, and Jezebel.
James can be seen doing improv at the New Movement with groups Super Computer, Quiet on the Set, and in the weekly 1919.  He also regularly performs stand-up in New Orleans and around the country.
Over the years, James has been a part of numerous notable comedy ensembles, including the French Navy and Personality Plus.  He co-produced the hit storytelling live show and podcast, Shipwrecked!, and once convinced a man to buy some bees for 25 cents each.
