Brittaney Wright

Britt has always had a love for performing, dating back to her childhood in Fayetteville, AR. While at The University of Arkansas, she started performing sketch comedy with fellow members of the Razorback Marching Band.
After moving to Austin, Britt fell in love with the improv community and knew that was the path she wanted to take. She began improv training at The New Movement in 2010 and was immediately hooked by the encouraging and enthusiastic teachings of Tami Nelson. Britt will be graduating from the TNM Training Center in spring of 2011. She is proud to be a founding member of TNM house troupe and 2010 Main Event Champions, Delta Burka, and performs regularly with her beloved troupe mates. Britt is also a member of the fiercest troupe at TNM, Claws with Fangs, and often performs in The Main Event and other TNM shows.

When not at the theater, Britt enjoys eating or cooking dope food, traveling and riding her bike. Also, if anybody wants to give her a gift card for sushi, she’ll gladly take it. Britt is also a fan of excessively using ellipses in emails and texts- just ask Alex Berry…

In the near future, Britt hopes to be teaching middle school children how to be good humans.
